I have always wanted to create a residential resource for youth empowerment. After some meditation, research, and a few trainings. I decided to open a Transitional Housing Placement Program for non-minor youth (THPP-NMD) to assist young women aging out of the foster system. I could only imagine what a program like the one I envisioned (Walker Academy) could do for communities. The opportunity to assist and equip young women who face limited support systems on their journey to independence is a dream. As a business owner, I pride myself on dedication and attention to every detail. Walker Academy's approach is rooted in integrity, guided by solutions, support, and care.
