About me

I have always wanted to create a residential resource for youth empowerment. After some meditation, research, and a few trainings. I decided to open a Transitional Housing Placement Program for non-minor youth (THPP-NMD) to assist young women aging out of the foster system. I could only imagine what a program like the one I envisioned (Walker Academy) could do for communities. The opportunity to assist and equip young women who face limited support systems on their journey to independence is a dream. As a business owner, I pride myself on dedication and attention to every detail. Walker Academy's approach is rooted in integrity, guided by solutions, support, and care. Ensuring that everything we do reflects our commitment to the young women we are caring for.
